 During the 1990's the healthcare industry was changing immensely. There were significant deficiencies in the availability of quality products because each medical decision was solely based on reimbursement. For this reason, Global Medical was formed.
Global Medical was created with a focus on outcomes management for health care facilities and their patients. Since its inception, Global Medical has been committed to designing, developing and delivering state-of-the-art specialty medical equipment, primarily wound care and bariatric products. In addition to its products, Global has developed a staff of experienced sales people to help customers choose the right products for each patient. And now, eight years later, our entire staff takes unwavering pride in offering the best products and service in the industry.
In the past eight years, the partners of Global Medical met with countless healthcare professionals, discovering that many of the individualized wound care needs of patients were not being met. It became apparent that a limited amount of products were being used to service a broad range of needs, at increasingly high costs. With this information in mind, Global sought out experts worldwide to help design the most comprehensive patient-focused line of specialty medical equipment in the industry. This focus on detail covered everything from creating patent-pending air cells in each mattress to developing products that target specific areas of the body to incorporating new technologies that heal wounds better and faster.
From that exploration and the years we spent listening to our customers, came the development of Global’s main product line, the Restx System. Since the launch of the Restx System, Global Medical has expanded into 7 states and continues to work to meet the needs of the healthcare industry everyday.
Additionally, following up on our promise to offer the most advanced technologies and product designs, Global Medical recently created and launched a state-of-the-art line of transport stretchers that have already became extremely important to a majority of our hospital customers. Global continues to strengthen its position in the marketplace by focusing heavily on research and development for new and improved specialty equipment needed in nursing homes and hospitals.
