The 8040 is a simplified version of the Posey Bed Enclosure System aimed at the Home Care market.
The 8050 offers 4 access panels to the patient, and ports for IV lines. The #8060 offers all the features of the The 8050 and comes with a Support Surface to accommodate pressure relieving and alternating pressure mattresses. All three versions offer a drainage bag opening and Posey’s patent pending enclosed mattress compartment that isolates the mattress away from the patient. All three models are designed for use with the side rails down to further reduce the potential of entrapment. The three models attach externally to the facility’s existing beds and have an exclusive open front design to accommodate patient lifts.
Accessories: Designed for use inside the Posey Bed Enclosure, the Support Surface can be used with patients who may be at risk for skin breakdown and need an additional support surface and provides a convenient way to hold sheets in place. The durable cover is made of a 4-way stretch material that is waterproof and is constructed of comfortable and durable polyurethane foam with a lightweight design that helps prevent entrapment. Meets CA #116 and #117 flame retardancy standards. Wipes clean with intermediate level disinfectant.
Skirt attaches to the outside of the Posey Bed, adding an aesthetic appearance. The Posey Bed Pediatric Cover attaches over the top of the Posey Bed with hook and loop tabs on the ends of each corner and its child friendly design makes it appear less intimidating for younger patients. The Posey Bed Pediatric Skirt attaches along the bottom of the Posey Bed.
